Porn Addiction Therapy for Teens

Blair started working with teenagers in 2001 at the Arbour Hospital in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts and has continued working with teenagers since.

Blair tailors his human-centered, needs-based, sexual integrity curriculum to an adolescent population and works to help them understand, heal and overcome from problematic sexual behavior patterns.

Particularly young men have been significantly impacted by the far-reaching, ubiquitous nature of the internet, exacerbated by the COVID pandemic lockdown. Human connection, vulnerable intimacy, emotional identification and regulation are skills that are particularly challenging for teenagers today and this leads to many sexual challenges which can include porn addiction, fear of intimacy (sexual anorexia), repeat infidelity, AI Companionship preference over real-world partners and other problematic porn adjacent behaviors.

Medical conditions like ‘Digital Castration’ have even become topics of concern with teenage and young men as they are having trouble with real world intimacy after primarly consuming artifical, transactional intimacy for the majority of their life. Real world, or vulnerable, intimacy can often be a terrifying prospet, fueling the turn to the safety of artificial and transactional intimacy.
